Los Angeles-based songwriter Katelyn Tarver steps back into the limelight with ‘Kool Aid’

Georgia-born Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and actress Katelyn Tarver releases ‘Kool Aid‘, the title track from her new EP. Its infectious melody, dreamy synths and poetic lyrics serve as a “middle finger” to particular individuals in the industry who, as Katelyn explains, pressure artists to emulate what is considered “cool”. This track is an inspiring and integral self-reminder to be herself and trust her gut in a bid to rise above the status quo which is imposed upon emerging artists. The EP also includes collaborations with impressive artists such as Sir Sly, Wrabel and J Hart. ‘Kool Aid’ is far more than an irresistibly catchy song; it is a powerful message which incites authenticity and truth.
