Nora Lilith dazzles in DIY debut EP ‘Daysof8’

Nora Liliths debut EP DAYSOF8 is an embodiment of mysteriousness as the latest breakthrough artist shares the wonders of work through the expansive sounds of DIY.

Seized by the inspirations of her identity and continuing to reinvent herself from one track to the next, Liliths debut project is a body of symbolism, reflection and the views of the otherworld. With a high level of authenticity and expression, Liliths approach to music is an uneasy yet addictive scope fuelled on a concoction of bedroom beats and R&B, jazz undertones.

Though we’re presented with the eclectic soundscapes and rich textures, Lilith also poignantly shares tales of her experiences that delve deep into introspection and vulnerability of the world she’s surrounded by.

With listeners entailed by the self-discovery of the title track ‘Daysof8’ and the shredding layers of hit single ‘Misfed’, Lilith notes further,

“This EP to me feels like an assortment of sonic experiments and inner world reflections. I feel like the energetic range of these tracks is a direct outcome of the varying timelines these tracks were created on, some very old and some newer, and some written on the same day. Overall, these songs lyrically all share an element of malaise while instrumentally expressing both a sanguine yet broody attitude. That juxtaposition feels connected to what I’ve mentioned in my bio – the symbol of Lilith and
how it, to me, represents a regaining of strength in what would otherwise be considered darkness.”

Continuing to grow and evolve, Nora Liliths debut EP DAYSOF8 gives her a step into the oaths of 2022.

This project to me is a reflection of that journey of overcoming inner turmoil through curiosity and allowing the freedom to appreciate my creations and my being in the wake of fear.” – Nora Lilith.
