If you’re a fan of Tom Misch, The Streets or Loyle Carner, then chances are you’re going to dig the new EP from UK newcomee Jordan Duke. The Fall and the Creation EP is laidback exploration of love, nostalgia, and friendship through a framework of warm jazzy hues, lofi beats and Duke’s storytelling style.
Although the five tracks come together as a complete narrative, our favourite track is ‘Bright Grey’. It’s a tender moment that focuses in on the universal understanding that love conquers all. Duke’s homegrown flow is complimented by the honeyed vocals of Dani Uziel.
Of course, we highly recommend that you listen to the full EP, which you can handily find below.
