Chatterbox: WNDR

Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi! I go under the alias WNDR (Pronounced Wonder) and I’m a Artist/producer Signed currently to Sony Music Norway. I’m a 26 year old guy from Oslo, Norway.

I started working with music when I was 8 years old as my father was a DJ in my childhood, but got into it seriously when I was 10. I started my career as a DJ at a local club for teenagers, and soon I wanted to make my own remixes to play in my sets and got into the world of producing. Since then I have perfected my craft and understanding when it comes to producing and creating music. I started experimenting in different genres until I found my own place in the electronic world, as I feel I’ve done now.

Where did the new single come from?

The single I just released with vocals from my friend Jordan King, “Let It Out” started with me building the instrumental on my laptop after a show I had earlier this year. Then I went to London with a friend to visit his family there. I got in contact with Jordan telling him that I had something I really wanted him to be a part of and sat up a session with him while I was in London. The rest is history and the outcome is what you hear now!

Is there more content in the pipeline?

Yeah I’m releasing a new single in November, and got a thing or two coming hopefully early next year that I’m really excited about, so keep your eyes and ears open for that.

What’s on the horizon for you?

Creating more content for my fans old and new. Get my live show at the place it needs to be both visual and sonically, before the shows I’m doing next year here in Norway.
I also really want to travel a bit more next year as well, so I can meet all the lovely people that have been loyal and showed me love across borders for the past couple of years.
