LA based producer and Dj Valentino Khan has returned with his latest single, the heart pounding, heavy house track – ‘Blackmail’, which is the lead single off his forthcoming EP. ‘Blackmail’ marks the commencement of a string of releases, set to drop every two weeks leading up to his EP.
Oozing with the classic four-on-the-floor house sound we know and love, Valentino details his musical roots with a knowing confidence and flare in this newest addition. Known for consistently upgrading and innovating his signature sound, Valentino remains fierce and unafraid of pushing the boundaries, expressing a freedom to create and combine heavy bass house with contrasting and light melodic overtones.
“My introduction to dance music over a decade ago came from passing by my brother’s room and hearing the distorted electronic sounds that were coming overseas from Europe. This music was fresh to my American ears and created a new culture that motivated me to push boundaries as a producer. This next series of releases blends my own sounds with the inspirations I’ve drawn from this era of dance music. In doing that, I’m looking to continue to evolve as an artist by bringing a fresh perspective to the table sonically.
