Chatterbox: Drugstore Ghost

‘House Dreams’ is the debut offering from producer Drugstore Ghost. The songs narrate a journey, one of transitions through both time and self.

Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Jordan Minor and I go under the moniker, Drugstore Ghost. Drugstore Ghost is a project that allows the ability to merge being a producer and being a songwriter. Birthed from doing work in sound design and soundtracks, the idea came about to use this avenue as a way to create a conceptual album with elements in sound, visuals, and performance – That album is called “House Dreams”.

Where did the new single come from?

The single/title track “House Dreams” plays the part of a summary for the elements in the album. I wanted it to be the boundary breaker of reality between the immediate world and the world of wonder (which is the two worlds that the album lives in).

What other content is in the pipeline?

Coming soon, we have two live session versions of the songs “Beautiful Life” and “Cherry Blossom” which will be out in late January and early February . As well as preparation for a short film that will capture elements and themes from the music….eventually leading up to have a whole visual guide for “House Dreams”

What’s on the horizon for you?

Touring in the Spring, which will include a live performance and visual art installment/projection  ! Be on the look out, when we come to your town 🙂
