Montreal-based folk-pop singer-songwriter Loryn Taggart has unveiled her latest single and video ‘The Vow’, featuring Isaac Symonds. Co-written in writing session during the height of the covid-19 pandemic, the song mirrors Taggart’s positive healing process after a period of grieving. Inspired by the sound of Tim Baker’s album Forever Overhead, this passionate songwriter enlisted producer Marcus Paquin to bring ‘The Vow’ to life. The live-recorded vocals, guitar, drums, and bass blend seamlessly with the added horn section, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.
