Hey, thanks for talking to us. Could you tell us something about yourself that nobody knows?
Something nobody knows about me is that i don’t always write songs as a unit. I might have a song title first that will sit around for a while, then i might have an idea for a theme later.
What influences have gone into your sound recently?
Recently, we’ve been inspired by Kings of Leon, The Strokes and Queens of the stone age. Lyrically, Chasing Youth is more in line with the kooks, and swallow dance is more in line with Blossoms.
What are you currently working on?
We’re currently writing more material and making plans for next year, hopefully if COVID is less severe gigs can come back in some capacity and we’re really excited to get back playing.
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
We’re trying our best to sort a gig out before the end of the year with social distancing measures in place. It would be nice to play the year out on a high.
Any top tips for getting through this difficult time?
Honestly, just keep writing. That’s what got us through. Even if you write so much you begin to wonder how you’ll find use for the material, just keep doing it and you’ll find your passion will grow and grow. If you have the ability to release something, and build some hype, definitely do it. Then you’ll be able to look back on this time and know you spent it well.
