Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

Heeeey! Well I’m a small town girl with big town dreams! I moved from Leicester to London to pursue my passion and turn my truths into music. I learned so much about myself through that seemingly small (or big) step, which was although I am sometimes scared, I am more so ambitious and determined. It helped me see that I’m not necessarily being more of one thing than another but that opposites can actually be experienced in the same person which I think creates balance.

I’m creative and academic, confident and shy, sensual and spiritual, serious and funny, cool and awkward, careful and clumsy. My girl and I actually have a ‘Clumsiness League’ table where we keep a mental record of all the epic fails. I’m quiet and loud, sophisticated and ratchet, strong and sensitive, silly and intelligent. I’m Tomboyish and lady-like and it’s OK to be all of these things.

Where did the new single come from?

The inspiration for ‘Chemistry’ came from feeling this connection with this guy who I hadn’t known for very long. It was new but very weird as this does not happen to me very often. I’m quite practical and sometimes too logical in my thinking and I like for things to ‘make sense’. But I’m learning chemistry isn’t something that can be explained using logic – it’s just how your body reacts.

Is there more content in the pipeline?

I’ve just released my sophomore EP ‘2AM’ which features four songs that have been so well received so far. I’m extremely happy that people are enjoying it! I was super nervous with this record because I’m honest and open where I’m usually really private about my thoughts and feelings. But I’m glad I was and I absolutely love it. And it shows that others will love it too if you’re authentic.

As well as promoting my latest EP, I’m finding inspiration for new music and have started writing again.

What’s on the horizon for you?

More shows, more writing and more collaborations; more growth as an artist and as a person. Just expect to see bigger and better things!
