London local Eckoes is on course for a stellar 2017. Having gained support from BBC introducing last year for a host of solid singles she is quickly ascending the dark, brooding pop ranks. Blue Deep is one of the aforementioned singles, we had a quick chat with Eckoes to get a little bit of background on the track.

Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

I grew up & live in North London, I was singing before I could speak. I have a severe crisp addiction (chips if you’re in the US?). I’m also very tall.

Where did the new single come from?

We’ve all had those experiences where we know we should stay away from someone, something, but we’re drawn in. Like the ocean. Blue Deep is that battle.

What other content is in the pipeline?

I’m releasing more singles and an EP next year that I can’t wait to share with everyone.
I’ve also written & feature on a track on Danny Darko’s new album ‘Youth’ which is out now, as well a few tracks on Alex Banks’ new album out next summer.

What’s on the horizon for you?

I’ll be back doing more live shows in 2017!
