From Purple Pop regular to this standalone feature, we’ve been following the path of London-based artist Ananya for around a year now and we’ve seen how she’s gone from strength to strength through each release. While her previous track ‘Man Ray’ took a bittersweet look back at a past love, this new single ‘Know You’ places all her bets on the future. With whimsical lyrics like “I wish you’d send me a signal, so I wish on my crystals, I speak to you in my slumber, you say, “I waited for you all summer”,” this unique songwriter evokes sensations of late-night yearning, magical thinking and that tender hopelessness of being in love.
