Me and The Moon are back with new indie infused single ‘Strangers’

Dreamy Indie alt-pop duo, Me and The Moon have returned to the muso-sphere with their first release in three years – ‘Strangers’. Gloriously Indie in every sense of the word with an undercurrent of gorgeous folky feels, ‘Strangers’ offers a taste of whats to come with a live show pending on the 17th of September at East Londons The Brink.

A clean, glossy comeback for the pair, ‘Strangers’ is layered with perfectly poised harmonies enveloped in warm and comforting guitar tones. All brushed up with expert percussive elements, Me and The Moon have returned with a quiet and well earned confidence. Bathed in an uplifting air, ‘Stranger’s is calming yet familiar, reminiscent of meeting up with a long lost friend.

A welcomed return from the boy-girl team, we can’t wait to hear what else awaits under their well turned sleeves.

“Strangers is written about someone you cared about coming back into your life but it feels too little too late,” explains the band. “We spent a lot of the first lockdown working on our new sound and writing as much new material as we could after spending some time away from the city at The Dog Haus in The New Forest. We came home with the bones of Strangers as the lyrics and melody came together incredibly quickly and naturally.” – Me and The Moon.
