Toronto girl group BLK have unveiled their long-awaited debut project, BLK Girl Magic. Short and sweet, this 6-record firmly cements BLK as a force to be reckoned with, as well as providing a much-needed breath of fresh air for the industry, and girl-group lovers in Canada and beyond.

Building upon their winning formula for commercially viable, female-friendly bops Bexk, Lilac X and Khatalia Korahjay offer a stunning collection of tracks including fan favourites ‘Got It’ and ‘FWM’, as well as 3 brand new singles and the lead track, ‘Girls’.

Candid, ‘tough-love’ lyricism and endearing personal narratives meet rich harmonies and luscious RnB melodies on BLK Girl Magic. A feast for eyes and ears, the record touches on a number of important themes from knowing your worth (Girls), standing up for yourself and refusing to be taken for granted (Don’t Be Greedy) and the importance of owning your sexuality (Pages).

Girl Magic is a very solid effort from BLK, a group formed of three solo artists who have successfully combined their initials and vibrant styles to create a unique, cohesive and current sound.
