On Friday 19yr old Emilia Tarrant released the achingly beautiful ‘Honeymoon Phase’, perfectly decorated with effortlessly soft and succulently sweet vocals, she has now unveiled the video to accompany this single. Detailing that dreamlike period of time at the beginning of any relationship, Emilia dives deep into what happens after this phase, where everything seems so perfect. She discusses the all important questions often swimming around our heads at this stage of a new relationship and the cyclical nature between two lovers, creating an extremely relatable anthem we can all sing our hearts out to.
Loaded with emotion, the video is wonderfully shot with multiple scenes of intimacy between both Emilia and her depicted other half. Breathtaking beach scenes serenade our screens as we watch Emilia go from happiness and laughter with her partner, to heated moments and then times of reflection. Music is often used for healing and Emilia has created the perfect song for this chapter change and the varying emotions that go along with it. A cathartic release for both artist and listener as ‘Honeymoon Phase’ is the perfect tool to help process those feelings and clear the energy there, leading the way for clarity.
