‘Moments’ is an anthem about resilience and perseverance from Jude the Obscure

It’s been a minute since we heard from rising UK talent Jude the Obscure, who released ‘Chapter 8’ back in August. Keeping in the same vein stylistically and thematically, Jude’s new song ‘Moments’ is all about celebrating the small wins in life.

As Jude the Obscure shares below, overcoming daily hardships and finding new ways to cope with extraneous stresses should be something we recognised. The Manchester-based artist does through through his smooth jazz-infused track that’s reminiscent of artists like Tom Misch and Loyle Carner, who also use real-band elements of piano, trumpet and drums to put forth to bridge that human connection between musician and listener.

Accompanying ‘Moments’, we have a video which follows a day-in-the-life of Jude the Obscure.

“‘Moments’ is about hard work; about overcoming the hurdles that life throws at you; about coming out on top in light of the hardships we face in our day to day lives. It’s an anthem of resilience and perseverance – surviving your early twenties with ambition, aspiration and sanity intact is no easy feat. One way or another, we all find ways to cope with what’s going on around us, now more than ever.”
