Fresh on the scene with an incredibly polished debut is upcoming Zimbabwean-born rapper and vocalist Charmaine, offering out her incredibly catchy first single, ‘BOLD’.

Although she currently calls Toronto her home, Charmaine had a difficult childhood which forced her to move around a lot, emigrating from Zimbabwe to mainland USA before finally setting in Canada. The lack of stability in her early years fostered an insatiable work ethic within Charmaine and a strong desire for better days ahead, and despite all odds being stacked against her, she did it. The result of her journey and the choices she’s made are a woman who is incredibly resilient, focused and unapologetically herself.

‘BOLD’ stands as reflection of the true essence of Charmaine as a woman and how she wishes to introduce herself as an artist – colourful, loud and audacious with tonnes of swag to match. Tapping into her amazing rapping skills, ‘BOLD’ is all about being fearless in who you are and what you do and not being afraid to demand what you want because you deserve it!
