Californian native, singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist Casey Mattson has released his first single for 2020, in the form of lo-fi banger -‘Disappear’. Following on from previous 2019 single ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, this newest addition takes the listener on a journey of finding and losing love as Casey carefully guides you through his own personal experience.

Oozing with rich, atmospheric vocals and lovingly laced together with down-tuned, acoustic guitars the tune is punctuated with bold sub basses and topped off with warm, bouncing electronic beats.

Written and recorded in the talented artists house, this emotion fuelled ballad paints the picture of longing for someone you remember fondly tinged with a subtle sadness of never being able to recapture that moment in time again. An ever expansive blend of bedroom pop and folk textures, Casey manages to capture the hazy, unmistakable spirit of California and its evocative nature.
