Introducing: Writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Bishop Ivy drops his cinematic-pop debut ’15’.

Writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Bishop Ivy drops his cinematic-pop debut ’15’. It is the first single to be taken from his upcoming project ‘All Things Temporary’ – a collection of songs that draw on subjects of change, innocence and angst. It’s an impressive freshman effort, with masterfully intricate production, climbing melodies and bold percussion.

“I wrote 15 to create a moment of bliss to start the record off. All Things Temporary(subsequent EP) overall is a lot darker than this first track, and it’s supposed to act as a calm before the storm to juxtapose the rest of it. Even without hearing the other songs, 15 hints at that with it ending abruptly with an alarm clock. The whole point of the song is exactly what it’s not. I wrote a happy song to make my sad ones sadder. When it’s stripped of it’s production it is actually a pretty moody ballad, but all the bells and whistles help create a more uplifting vibe for the track.” – Bishop Ivy
