Kentucky-based hip hop group Waco Bell share infectious track ‘Ocean’ as part of their album release ‘Black Matters’

Kentucky-based hip hop group Waco Bell share infectious track ‘Ocean’, a trap anthem which quickly unfolds as a much deeper, heartfelt narration of an emotional journey. Progressive, synth-led production, created by producer/keyboardist Scott Gardner and bassist Lee Williams, provide the rhythmic foundation for Reuben Park’s sumptuous vocals, which take you on a humanistic voyage of personal resilience, conflict, and overwhelming emotion.

“On ‘Oceans’, we tried to convey an emotional journey of feeling at odds with the world. A conflict storms inside of us, we feel helpless as waves of overwhelming emotion knock us deep into our darkest thoughts. We rise from our personal abyss and find ourselves floating on an endless horizon; but there’s hope in our resilience as we look within to determine our purpose amidst the vast unknown. Oceans has been a part of our live set for well-over a year, so we were extremely happy to now share it with the release of Black Matters.” – Waco Bell
