Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
We’re Starwolf, a band from in and around St. Louis, MO. We started out mostly as a Talking Heads/Tears for Fears cover band playing to lots of uninterested country music fans in small town bars. We wrote and recorded a few demos ourselves and eventually worked with producer Jason Kingsland (Band of Horses, Washed Out, Deerhunter) and Zach Pyles in Atlanta, and Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road studios for mastering.
Where did the new single come from?
Promised Land came from our love of analog synthesizers, bass guitar, and the life of Frank Sinatra.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
We’re currently working on a brand new EP, shooting for a fall release. We released our debut track, Mysterious Love, back in October.
What’s on the horizon for you?
We’ve got a festival performance at LouFest this September, we’re pretty stoked to share a bill with Huey Lewis and Snoop. We’re currently booking shows around the midwest.
