Hey, tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Melis and I am 23 years old. I grew up in Prague and I am a singer and a songwriter.
How did the new single come about?
Well, I wrote Love Song on my acoustic guitar in my old apartment in Berlin. It took me a few hours overall I think. It was a natural thing; writing love songs is something I used to do when I was younger and they were always from my own perspective, but this time I suppose it was from a more mature state of mind… it’s a dialogue.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
There’s a few more tracks to come – I have taken the last 6 months writing and soon it will be time to start sharing those little pieces of me with you.
What’s on the horizon for you?
I really want to play some shows and festivals. My main focus for this year is to be me, keep writing, and keep improving. I think that’s the best thing that can possibly happen for me.
