Review – Hider

It’s been six years since Hider has worked on any music that could truly be called his own, having taken a slight diversion into the world of commercial contracts. The London based producer had been writing for adverts, trailers and TV – the new single sees Hider break out of that world and focus on himself. It marks a return to a sonic landscape that is his, and his alone.  It teeters on the edge of indie, but retains a contemporary arrangement that would be at home on an alt-pop record.
