Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
What’s up! We’re Liam, Dylan, and Roman and we all live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We’ve been best friends since we were 15 years old. Since then, we’ve easily played over 700 shows (I’ve since lost track) and we’ve made this album. We’re total road dogs. We love being out playing music and making friends and eating terrible food.
Where did the new single come from?
Physically, this single came from Liam’s basement, and a couple of studios in Winnipeg – Stereobus and Collector Studio.
In reality, this song is an upbeat look at a toxic relationship that Roman had in high school. When bad things happen to us, we like to sit on them and write on them for like, a long time.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Oh yeah. This is only the 2nd single from our debut album. We just kind of put them out whenever we feel like it. I think I’ll do another one on my birthday (Mar 26) just for fun.
What’s on the horizon for you?
Right. So we’re going to release this album. That will be fun. We’re working on a lo-fi ep for the summer. We’re touring Western Canada and Toronto in April/May. Got a summer full of festival shaping up. We’re the backing band and opening band for another great Canadian, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, and we’ve got some stuff coming down the pipeline with him in the Summer/Fall.
Also, we’re constantly on a quest for the world’s best burrito. Really hoping something takes shape in that regard. Our current favourite is Sal Y Limon in Vancouver, Canada.
