Chatterbox: AllBe

AllBe are a progressive R&B band straight out of Brooklyn. You can hear the city’s heartbeat in the pulse of their tracks; the bass line and a raw beat lay the foundation for ‘Rain Jacket’ – the group’s most recent release. Guitars and brass fleck the song with fills, trills and moments of pure escapism… it’s perfect for a wintery day like this one. We got in touch with AllBe which you can check out below.

Where did the new single come from?

Rain Jacket is the single off of our new EP, “Corners”.  The song was the second of 4 written off of the EP.  “Corners” was released on August 5th and we had the honor of having it announced on ABC’s “The View” during a feature performance we did with tap dance duo, the Manzari Brothers.  On the show, we performed an instrumental arrangement of our song, “Savannah” also off of the Corners EP.  Leo Manzari (of the Manzari Brothers) is the lead singer/rapper for AllBe.

What other content is in the pipeline?

As we wrap up 2016 and head into the new year, we’re getting ready to roll out a bunch of new media that includes video shorts for Instagram/Facebook and some new music as well.  We’re constantly working on new music, but since we have already put out 2 releases in under 2 years, we’re changing our focus to visual media and our live show.

What’s on the horizon for you?

With the new year, we’re jumping into the NYC live scene with a new lineup and and new set that no one has heard before.   The live show will feature music from “Corners”, our debut album “The Beacon” and some unheard new music, all while incorporating tap dance onto our live production.

We’re currently booking shows for early winter and have some really big announcements to make.   We haven’t been given complete clearance on one of the announcements yet, but the second I do, I will let you know!
