Trust the Mask return with poignant new cyber-pop track ‘Our Fault’

Intriguing, alluring and full of mystique, Trust the Mask entered our atmosphere earlier this year and have sparked our attention and captured imagination ever since. Overflowing with creative, boundary pushing, alternative pop music, they brilliantly combine elements of glitch, cyber, synth and industrial style electronic pop that is fresh, vibrant and buzzing with energy.

Unafraid to traverse new frontiers of music, they often combine their ingenuity with thought provoking, poignant lyricism. Demonstrated perfectly in new single ‘Our Fault’ the dynamic duo discuss the damage we, as humans are inflicting on our planet and the responsibility we hold to help heal our home.

Leading the way for their upcoming album Idiom,  musician and composer Elisa Dal Bianco and singer Vittoria Cavedon continue to wow us with their creativity, promising an album of incredible proportions.

“Trust the Mask are seeking connection. Connection to the world amidst an increasingly fractured global environment. ‘Our Fault’ is a letter of apology to Mother Earth. Written during the lockdown, when it seemed pretty clear that Nature was sending us a terrible message after centuries of abuse. A song that began by experimenting with arpeggios on a vintage accordion to which analog synths, virtual pipe organs and layers of choral samples were added. It is again Vittoria’s amazing voice that guides the narrative as a conscience that reminds us of all the mistakes humanity has made.” –  TRUST THE MASK
