California is undeniably coming up hot as one of the places to find the freshest names in the dance music scene. Whether it’s the proximity to the coast with its near-endless summertime inspiration, the plethora of party cities, or the melting pot of cultures with their various musical styles, there’s something special happening on America’s West Coast. One name that we’d like to highlight from the ever-growing roster is veggi, the Southern California based producer who is now making his debut on Too Future Records.

veggi’s newest single ‘BLISS’ is the appropriately titled track that invokes a euphoric sense of happiness thanks to the disco-drenched soundscape. It’s such a warm and inviting dance track with a stylish patternation of funky rhythms that are joined by the attitude-filled vocals of one of the guests Pell. Those punchier sections flow into dreamy synths that perfectly match the lustrous voice of other guest KALLITECHNIS. You can’t help but groove along to this fluid decades-crossing dance number.

This is all in preparation for veggi’s forthcoming EP release, which promises to mix even more old and new styles.

“When I made the first version of this song about a year ago, I named it “BLISS”, given its major key and uplifting synths/leads. Little did I know that KALLITECHNIS and Pell would root their lyrical inspiration within the name, which brought the concept full circle. Everything fell into place with this track really organically and I couldn’t be happier with it! Working with both of these artists has been a dream come true!”
