Finding joy in music from a young age in and after leaving his home and travelling to London to study Contemporary Music, the independent singer-songwriter has finally made his mark with the debut single ‘Secrets’.

Raised on the influences of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley to the roots of the Middle East, the Turkish born artist portrays his music through the blend of alternative hazy rock and textured cultural melodies. Captured by the unspoken and unseen aspects of our life, ‘Secrets’ shares the story of a young man who has experienced both sides of the coin, detailed through the wonders of hard-hitting production with mysterious, emotive lyricism. 

Eager to make an impact, he invited you into his realm. Reading to finally step out of his shadow Jem shares a glimpse of what the future holds with his first single, ‘Secrets’. 

“Sometimes I visualise my songs before writing them. With this song, imagery came to me in a dream-like state, and all I did was react musically to how these images made me feel.” He added, “I’ve always been interested in the unknown, and the feeling lies between the lines. Music and art are my way of highlighting the beauty that I see, which is often buried with a plain sight for most people.” – Jem
