Chatterbox: LEAP chats reoccurring dreams, upcoming live shows and soup n toasties.

Hey LEAP, thanks for taking the time to talk to us today. Could you tell us something about yourself that nobody knows?
I had a recurring dream for years that I was a vampire. It was kinda great.

What have you been influenced by recently, that you would say has found its way into your sound?
I’ve been listening a lot to Sam Fender’s new record Seventeen going under. Theres a real poignancy in his lyrics thats hits me haaaard!

What is going on in the musical realms of LEAP at the moment, what are you working on?
We have a new single coming out in November so will be shooting a video for that and working on the live set with the fellas.

What are your plans for the rest of 2021? Any live shows to round off the year?
Yes indeedy. We have two support shows lined up – firstly with Modern Love at the Social on November 11th and secondly at Nell’s with Aussie heartthrob Harry Marshall Dec 4th. They promise to delightfully sweaty affairs.

Any top tips for getting through this difficult time?
Just trying to remember that, to an extent, life is just one revolving door. It may feel like we’re endlessly trudging through shit but keep faith in the people and things you love and the good times will come rolling.

What energy/motto/advice or learnings will you be taking into the new year with you?
Allow time for your wellness or you will have to make time for sickness.

Finally, what are some of your fave things about the cooler months ahead?
Rocking my vibesy winter coats plus soup n toasties. What’s not to love?!?!
