Punt Guns drop remix album ‘RMXd’

Bringing an electronic dance spin to their punk-rock album, Punt Guns have released ‘RMXd’, featuring producers Future Funk Squad, Glen Nicholls and Janette Slack. The record opens with the cinematic climbs and nostalgic synths of a reworked ‘3Spots’, whilst focus track ‘B1g Bang’ is reminiscent of Leftfield’s ‘Open Up’, filled with industrial sounds and ethereal pads.

Two of the remixes from the album, ‘B1g Bang’ and ‘Cyber Dreams’, were played by The Crystal Method in the US. Producer Glen Nicholls has worked with Nine Inch Nail, The Prodigy, Dépêche Mode amongst other big names, and now features on this dynamic new record. Punt Guns are producing a sound unlike anything else on the market, and ‘RMXd’ does not disappoint.

“I had the absolute pleasure of working with these guys remixing 1.C.A.R.U.S and a few other tracks from this first offering and can’t wait to see what the future holds for these absolute gentlemen of the music scene. Keep an open mind, you won’t regret it!” – Janette Slack
