Rapper and songwriter Armstrong has returned with his newest offering, ‘For You’. Born in Cameroon but raised in Houston, Texas – Armstrong, primarily a Hip Hop artist utilises his innate ability to inject waves of soul into his creations. This newest single is no exception.

‘For You’ demonstrates his artistic nature down to a T. An air of old school hip hop, studded with groove and laced with jazzy piano chords, Armstrong punctuates the tune with clean, crisp guitar riffs. Oozing with authenticity, ‘For You’ also pays homage to Armstrongs dear friend Toyyib, who sadly passed away. A beautiful way to pay his respects to a loved one, ‘For You’ acts as a gift, a reminder and a memorial all masterfully sculpted into one.
