Brooklyn based songwriter Arthur Moon fuses folk sensibilities and electronic soundscapes on ‘I Feel Better’

Brooklyn based songwriter Arthur Moon fuses folk sensibilities and electronic soundscapes on ‘I Feel Better’. It is the project of Lora-Faye Åshuvud, in collaboration with musicians such as Cale Hawkins and Martin D. Fowler; with roots in rock and indie, Åshuvud seamlessly blends bombastic narratives with contemporary arrangements. The new single is another example of this unique blend; a deconstructed take on upbeat pop. Rich harmonies are interwoven with searing synths and organic textures to create an expansive soundscape.

“I wrote this song while I was on an artist residency in the desert of New Mexico, sleeping in a single bed in a windowless room. I was reflecting on my life in New York, the propulsion of anxiety, and how to harness that anxious energy toward being a self-critical member of an artistic community.”
