‘Flashes’ is the first single to be released by Malaysian collective MFMF., made up of duo Spuds and alt-R&B writer / producer KUIZZ. They have racked up millions of streams in their respective projects and have added Bil Musa to the team on their debut record. It’s an energising alt-pop tune filled with electronic percussion, jangly guitars and catchy choruses.
“Flashes was one of those songs that when we started producing it, we knew right away it had to be the first release. Bil came in and pretty much had this idea and wrote the song with us in just a few hours. It’s a song about falling in love and meeting your childhood sweetheart again and recalling those moments in flashes.” – MFMF
