Shaqdi is an emerging songwriter based in London, originally hailing from Scandinavia. ‘Colorless’ is her debut single, and it’s an impressive one; the track is an alt-pop gem filled with bouncy synth lines, glitchy percussion, trilled hi-hats and topped with an enigmatic half spoken vocal. There’s an AlunaGeorge vibe to ‘Colorless’, it has the same nonchalant melodic delivery and electronic playfulness. Shaqdi is one to watch.
