Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

We are a new LA based indie electro pop duo. Before we started Kuzo about a year ago we were both in different music groups, one making trip hop and the other folk music. A new local indie label had taken interest in both of our groups and invited us to a dinner where we met. We were soon writing and recording, mainly as an additional outlet to experiment with styles and elements different from our other projects.

The creativity continued to build, and we had an album’s worth of material in bloom before either of us realized it. Kuzo is a combination of emotionally driven blends of sound and sultry vocals.

Where did the new single come from?

Luna is about a crazy night in LA that winded down to people chilling in a circle, having a smoke and just having a deep talk. Those nights that you look back on and smile.  Overall a nostalgic reflection about living life to the fullest, and having a good time.  Living in Los Angeles for about seven years, you experience a lot. I am still the same girl from Long Island with a crazy dream.

I think if anything LA has made me more of a dreamer. This track is a token of my appreciation for this overwhelming yet beautiful place. They say when the moon if full – that is when you think about what you want for your life.  What you truly desire. I feel the same hunger every time.  That is to create and make music.  That is Luna.

Is there more content in the pipeline?

We have an EP/Album in the works, and we will be releasing singles monthly.  Every track is its own entity and we want to create visual stories to reflect each one. When we have multiple songs released, we will be focused on playing shows around Los Angeles and the West Coast.

What’s on the horizon for you?

We are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some like-minded, creative individuals who offered to bring Luna to life with a music video. Super excited to be hitting the road this weekend to do just that!
