Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

I would say I am an artist that makes music that ranges anywhere from aggressive pop to alternative rock. I live in the Nashville area and I usually spend every day either writing or recording. When music connects and makes people feel what Im feeling, it fuels my fire. There’s nothing else like it.

Where did the new single come from?

I wrote “Babel” with producer artist Josh Hawkins aka Super Duper about a year or so ago. When he played me the track it had this vocal sample on it, that to me, sounded like it was saying ‘Babel.’  The song pretty much wrote itself from there when I came up with the concept of it being about miscommunication in relationships and how it can tear everything down that you’ve built with that person. Having been married for almost ten years facing all the natural ups and downs made this even more real to me. It also evoked this feeling of the fact that everything is temporary here, even deep everlasting love ends when death enters the picture . I think that’s what also makes life and love beautiful. Even the most valued things here fade to dust so we need to hold on to them while we have them.

Is there more content in the pipeline?

Yes! I’ve got a new LP coming August 25th and it’ll be my debut record as a solo artist. I am pretty stoked about that!

What’s on the horizon for you?

I think some shows are in the future are a must and I’ve got some pretty exciting collaborations coming up as well. Right now if you’re watching all the PGA tour stuff that’s going on you’ll hear my song “Legends Are Made” in the commercials, which has been super fun and cool for me.
