Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a trained classical pianist, started producing aged 14 and rapping aged 18. My music is an amalgamation of the different cultures I have come from, being born and raised in Lagos Nigeria until the age of 10, then going to boarding school in London, UK ’til 18 then college in the US.
Where did the new single come from?
The new single is actually an older song from the sessions for my 2014 mixtape “GoodBye For Never”, and is an attempt to pick apart the idea of change, for better or for worse.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Contract Thursdays will be a 2 part series consisting of close to 10 songs, and I also have another very important project I am working on that will hopefully be ready for release in July.
What’s on the horizon for you?
The final project I’m working on is my baby right now along with continuing these Contract Thursdays tracks, but in the fall I will be starting at Columbia Law School and that will be the primary use of my time for a couple years.
