Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m from Agoura Hills, CA. I grew up playing piano and guitar and singing in bands. I fronted a band called Overnight Lows from 2002-2007, then decided to go solo in 2008 after the band broke up. I’ve released 3 EPs, 1 full length album, and another EP called Jules Larson + AG with a producer/writer friend who goes by the name of AG.
How did the new single come about?
“Conquerors” was recorded with my friend Lucian Piane, and written by myself, Lucian, and Ali Young. The lyrics came from an emotional place for sure. It came from a discussion about the deep issues relationships face, questioning honesty in relationships, and the notion that if you let your guard down all the way, great things can happen. We had a feeling it would be a more stripped down song the minute we started writing it, and I was excited to get my talented pal Stevie to play cello on this as well.
What’s on the horizon for you?
There is DEFINITELY more content in the pipeline, always! I have a project called Coco Fiasco that will be releasing some new music soon. I am also busy writing songs for Jules Larson, which may just end up being a series of singles that I release in 2018. I’m looking forward to shooting some videos as well.
