Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey! I’m electro-pop artist Memoryy. Originally from Brooklyn but now being a brand new Dad in Albuquerque. I like sleep, 80’s synthesizers, sleep, writing music for Film & TV (like the netflix Chelsea Handler show theme), and did I mention sleep?
Where did the new single come from?
Not Over You is a song that I’ve been reworking on & off for probably 8 years. It almost showed up on my last EP (2014’s Young Oblivion), but I pulled it when there was label interest in it. It’s a personal song & I always felt it was the best thing I’ve done, so I kept it close to my chest. Until now.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Well I just dropped my brand new album Skeletons this past Friday – my big “pop” album I’ve been slowly been working on for 2 years. There will be a remix package coming later in a few months – featuring remixes from Body Language, Reighnbeau, Grand Atrium & a few others.
What’s on the horizon for you?
Hopefully getting caught up on sleep! Definitely more remixes & films to score. For the next album I want to collab with singers & rappers and be more behind-the-scenes. So I’m on the lookout for collaborators / artists to remix (If you’re reading this – hit me up!)
