“Once tour was finished, I knew I had to head back to the mountains to be able to finish the deluxe. Something about the silence out there that makes it easier to hear what I’m trying to say. The first song that came out of that time was “Rescue Me”. The melody started playing in my head as I was driving through the trees. By the time I got there I knew exactly what I wanted to say with this song.”
