Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours is the luminous, spellbinding EP from Bliss Carmxn

Bliss Carmxn is the brainchild of Canadian-born writer and academic Adam Kaasa, and they have unleashed a masterpiece brimming with dynamic energy and profound emotion. Their debut EP, Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours, is a dazzling odyssey through an ethereal soundscape, enveloped in shimmering pop vibes. This EP is a collaborative triumph, showcasing the talents of female, queer, and gender non-conforming artists. With production by Rookes, engineering by Ary Maudit, and mastering by Katie Tavini at Weird Jungle, the EP was brought to life at Ten87 Studio and Strongroom Music Studios in London. Artistic direction by Pati de Souza Leão Müller and photography by Oli Raptor further enhance the project’s vibrant identity.

The adventure begins with ‘Hey Oh Hey’, a vivacious track bursting with plucky synths, crisp snare hits, and soaring vocal melodies. This exhilarating opener sets an electrifying tone. Next is ‘Hear’, anchored by a bouncy piano melody and boasting irresistibly catchy singalong qualities. ‘Big Enough’ then slows the pace, crafting a more introspective soundscape where the duo’s songwriting prowess shines through rich arpeggios and swelling strings, evoking a melancholic yet beautiful atmosphere. Closing the EP is ‘Side’, a radiant electro-pop anthem teeming with vivid synth patterns and layered, vibrant vocals.

On the whole, ‘Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours’ is a spellbinding debut, heralding a luminous future for Bliss Carmxn. Immerse yourself in this captivating EP and let its magic sweep you away.

“The EP acts like a relationship in reverse. We start at the end and end at the beginning. It’s a vulnerable, fierce, soft and joyful set of tracks that reminds us there’s always a new beginning when we draw a line in the sand.”
