Our Indie Kids playlist celebrates everything on the indie spectrum, whether that’s rock, folk or pop, because we firmly believe in taking a little walk off the beaten track every once in a while.



First up in our Indie Kids playlist we have ‘Dinah’, the new single from singer-songwriter Maple Glider (aka Tori Zietsch), which is also accompanied by a creatively irreverent video, tackling serious themes with playful energy. The song was inspired the Biblical story of Dinah, as a way to address victim-blaming and double standards within Christianity. Zietsch uses pop-oriented sound while delving into anger and frustration that’s rooted into her Christian upbringing and her relationship with her body, exploring consent and shame. ‘I Get Into Trouble’ is a captivating journey, transforming pain into insight and hope. Produced and mixed by Tom Iansek with Jim Rindfleish on drums, the album promises to be a compelling continuation of Maple Glider’s musical exploration. With this new track, she announces her second album, I Get Into Trouble, set to release on October 13th, 2023, via Pieater/Partisan.

Recently, American Ink’s released their latest album What I See, What People See, from which we’re highlighting focus track ‘Synecdoche’.
