You’ll recall that we previously featured the London-based Portuguese musician Afonso with singles ‘Golden Hour’ and ‘Luz’. Once again, the promising young artist is transporting us to the beauty of nature through his cooling alt-jazz compositions and lofi productions. ‘Bloom’ is an easygoing number that instantly brings to mind the styles of Nick Hakim and Oscar Jerome, although it’s undoubtedly the work of Afonso thanks to the shuffling percussion and recognizable falsetto.
