Irish songwriter Conor Byrne releases his debut solo single ‘Bloodstream’, an ode to falling hard and fast. It comes on the back of a collaboration with Gamper & Dadoni on ‘Island In The Sun’, which went on to repack up 13 million streams. His new offering takes a slightly more melancholy tone, pairing soaring melodies with swirling production. Byrne’s ability to craft a bold chorus are on show, with ‘Bloodstream’ really hitting its stride through the hook.
“Bloodstream is pretty much based on how I am in relationships. I’m very hot or cold when it comes to liking someone but when I do fall for someone I fall hard and fast. This whole idea inspired the song and I really wanted to give an insight to how it feels to experience this level of intense emotion for someone.”
