Bronze Whale return with a remix package for their recent LP ‘The Shape Of Things’. It includes tracks with Charlie Crown, Cloudchord and LMBO; alongside brand new offerings with Matron, Shui & Denae, Very Yes and more. The tracks dance between styles, moving from hip-hop to electronica, dance and experimental pop. One of my personal highlights is Poles’ remix of ‘Valley Yum’ featuring rapper and vocalist Swanny Ivy; a robust hip-hop production with textured synths, vibrant percussion and melodic vocal chops – it perfectly frames Swanny’s energetic vocal.
‘Mountain Lane’ is another high-point, which gets a rework from Shui & Denae who add their cinematic pop vibes; from big melodic synth sounds to rousing pianos – the track gets turned into an expansive anthem. You can stream the whole package above and decide which track speaks to you!
