Dennis Lloyd’s life shifted towards music after three years of service in the army; he moved to Bangkok, established a creative space within his one bedroom apartment and begun writing. He completed 40 tracks during this time including his new single ‘Never Go Back’, a genre-bending exploration of a relationship he encountered whilst travelling in Asia. The video is shot between Sri Lanka and Tel Aviv, giving some amazing visual landscapes within which Lloyd’s soaring melodies ring out.
About the “Never Go Back” video, Dennis says, “Shooting the music video in Sri Lanka was surreal in so many ways. The video is loosely based on my previous relationship and the time we spent together. In some senses, this video felt like closure to me. It was very difficult to recreate though, as I had to relive the relationship falling apart.”
