A relative newcomer on the electronic scene, Y Balloon has dived deep into the world of production after a successful period as a tech entrepreneur. This led him to an understanding of the intersection between technology and our daily lives; with his debut EP ‘JOMO (Joy Of Missing Out)’ a musing on putting our phones down and being present. ‘Mockingbird’ is the first single taken from his upcoming record, a delicious combination of anthemic drums, expansive synths, expressive melodies and bursts of brass.
