Portuguese trio Vaarwell explore the dark side of electro-pop on beguiling new track ‘Money’

Portuguese trio Vaarwell have released their new single ‘Money’, which explores a soundscape somewhat different to the band’s previous offerings. It takes on a darker tone than their last single ‘Stay’, and explores themes of independence and strength in solitude. The production is characteristically beguiling, with swirling electronic elements, punctured guitars and climbing vocal melodies.

“‘Money’ is all about personal emancipation. It describes finding consolation and strength through independence.” – Vaarwell
