Having been inspired by numerous artists from a wide range of genres, Adam Hinden has released his debut EP ‘Sleep In’. His influences range from Frank Ocean to Ben Howard; and it comes out in his writing. Full of emotive flourishes, elegant electronic production and carefully crafted melodies – the EP is an extremely wondrous piece of contemporary electronic-pop.
“Basically each song of the EP represents a different phase in the summer. I was really inspired by beauty in traditionally non-beautiful things, such as suburbia and parking lots and just the town I live in in general. Each song was written in one night and the whole EP was finished on the very last night before I moved out to college, so it was also in a way the closing of a chapter in my life.” – Adam Hinden
