Nina Nesbitt shares her newest earworm track ‘Colder‘, an ode to the struggles of opening up after heartbreak. The single comes ahead of the eagerly awaited second album, ‘The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change’ out on 1st February 2019, which showcases Nesbitt at her lyrical and musical best. This album sees global stars collide within the featuring production, which includes Lostboy (Anne-Marie), Fraser T Smith (Adele, Drake, Gorillaz, Florence and the Machine), Jordan Riley (Macklemore, Zara Larsson) and Nina herself; it is no wonder why Nesbitt’s music is some of the best in the pop genre worldwide. With Nina behind the songwriting wheel, ‘Colder’ is not short of infectious melodies or flawless vocals. The artist’s raw writing is perfectly matched to the organic soundscape which develops throughout the track. You’ll have this one in your head all week. And maybe the week after.
“’Colder’ was the last song I wrote for the album. It was written after watching young kids in love and how fearlessly they fall for each other because they’ve most likely not had their heart broken before. It’s a song about the aftermath of that and explaining to someone why you find it hard to open up.” – Nina Nesbitt
