Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
I moved to Stockholm 2 years ago from Australia to start a song-writing career. Somehow fate lead me to signing with a label that feels like family and writing Brandy with some great friends of mine. And here we are.
Where did the new single come from?
I wrote the chorus 2 weeks before I walked into the session with Harry (Sommerdahl, producer) and Emma (Bertilsson, song-writer). It was a vision I had of a falling in love with a man who was in love with Brandy. I won’t say it’s personal, but I want whoever’s listening to decide if it’s a girl or liqour. It’s more open that way. I know almost everyone has felt rejected at some point in their lives.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Of course! I’m a songwriter at heart, but performing my songs was always an extra goal I’ve always had. So yes, you can definitely expect more from me.
What’s on the horizon for you?
I want to surprise people, write songs that people can use their imagination with.. and feel a little sexy and/ or confident while singing the lyrics.
